An Entire Facade, the Clinic's Calling Card

CHYIHAUR delivered the facade signage and wall-cladding project for Yangming Grid Dental, wrapping a large expanse of exterior wall in press-brake formed 1mm baked-finish galvanized steel panels, reinforced by a welded internal matte-panel framework. The upper section pairs laser-cut profiling with LED halo lighting, while the lettering uses baked-finish galvanized framed channel letters — completed in 45 days with 100% design fidelity.

Project Planning & Execution

CHYIHAUR Team

A clinic's first impression is often decided before the patient ever steps through the door. The facade project for Yangming Grid Dental was never about hanging a single sign — it re-clad the entire exterior wall into one complete brand identity. Using press-brake formed baked-finish galvanized panels together with laser-cut profiling and illuminated letters, CHYIHAUR turned the building's own facade into the clinic's finest calling card.

01

Project Background & Challenge

What Yangming Grid Dental needed was not a single storefront sign, but a facade signage and wall-cladding project — using large-format panels to unify the entire exterior wall into one cohesive brand frontage. Cladding such an expansive wall was the project's greatest construction challenge: panel flatness, alignment of seam lines, structural load-bearing and weather resistance — any deviation, however small, would be magnified across the whole facade.

Daytime view of a white building facade; flat pale green lettering on the upper band and deep green three-dimensional letters on the band below, both unlit; air-conditioning units on the second-floor window ledge and a glass shopfront at street level.

Flatness Across a Full Facade

A single sign could not carry a frontage this wide, so the whole exterior wall was wrapped in brake-formed 1mm painted galvanized panels. At this scale the risks are bowing panels and joint lines that fail to align, so a welded internal frame supports the sheets section by section while carrying the weight of the whole cladding. By day there is no lighting: the lower lettering has to hold legibility through its own depth and the tonal gap against the white ground.

02

Design Goals & Strategy

The project aimed for a facade formed as a single, seamless whole: the exterior was press-brake formed from 1mm baked-finish galvanized steel panels, supported by a welded internal matte-panel framework to keep the large-area cladding flat and rigid. The upper section pairs laser-cut profiling with overhead LED halo lighting, letting the building's silhouette emerge in a soft glow at night. The brand lettering uses baked-finish galvanized framed channel letters, combining front-lit and halo-lit configurations for clear legibility day and night.

A Piece Outside the Facade

The brand image is carried by the whole outer wall, while the address is left to this small plate hung off it: a white panel with a green folded rim all around, showing the street name and the number 165, again white ground with green lettering.

Two Lighting Systems After Dark

After dark a second system takes over: the framed illuminated letters divide the work between front lighting and back lighting, and the laser-cut form above is washed by LED to bring out the outline.

Project Outcome

Upon completion, Yangming Grid Dental presents a consistent, crisp brand identity across its entire facade: by day, a clean, flush baked-enamel surface; by night, laser-cut profiling glowing with LED halo light and framed channel letters clearly guiding the eye — with 100% design fidelity. The expansive cladding gives the clinic a complete, professional first impression on the street.

FAQ

This is a facade signage and wall-cladding project completed by CHYIHAUR for Yangming Grid Dental. The exterior was clad over a large area with press-brake formed 1mm baked-finish galvanized steel, paired with a welded internal matte-panel framework, laser-cut profiling and LED halo lighting on the upper section, and baked-finish galvanized framed channel letters — finished in 45 days.

Wall-cladding uses panels to enclose the entire exterior facade of a building, turning the whole outer wall into part of the brand identity rather than simply mounting a single standalone sign. Here, press-brake formed baked-finish galvanized panels clad a large area of wall to create a complete, unified clinic frontage.

The difficulty of large-area cladding lies in panel flatness, seam-line alignment and structural load-bearing: the larger the area, the more easily any deviation is magnified. Here, a welded internal matte-panel framework provides support, keeping the 1mm press-brake formed galvanized panels flat and rigid across the entire facade.

The lighting combines front-lighting and back-lighting: the brand lettering consists of baked-finish galvanized framed channel letters, while the upper laser-cut profiling is lit from above by LED halo light — at night the building's silhouette emerges in a soft glow, with clearly legible lettering.

The Yangming Grid Dental facade signage and wall-cladding project had a 45-day construction period with 100% design fidelity; a one-year warranty on fabricated work is provided upon completion.
