Project Planning & Execution
CHYIHAUR Team
As a visitor steps into a corporate space, their impression of the brand begins at the entrance sign and builds along every marker on the way. For Yuchuang Technology's interior identity project, CHYIHAUR integrated interior signage, a wayfinding system, and cut-vinyl graphics — so the identity does more than hang on a wall; it guides every visitor along the path.
Project Background & Challenges
Yuchuang Technology's space called for a complete interior identity: a clear brand sign at the entrance, legible wayfinding along the circulation, and cut-vinyl graphics on walls and glass to extend the brand visuals. These elements span different techniques and materials, and left uncoordinated they easily read as a mismatched patchwork. The challenge here was to make every interior identity element speak the same design language.

Where the language starts
The wall's texture and joint lines were fixed by the fit-out before any signage existed; hanging a sign afterwards would read as an afterthought. We came in on the fit-out schedule so the lettering and the wall were finished together. The dimensional letters keep their visible sides and bevelled edges, so in the room's ambient light, with no dedicated fixture, thickness and reflection alone carry the reading. This wall also sets the typography, colour and layout logic for the whole project; the wayfinding system and vinyl graphics that follow all extend from it.
Design Goals & Strategy
We planned the interior identity as a single system: signage, wayfinding, and vinyl graphics all follow one set of brand visual standards, with unified typography, color, and layout logic. The wayfinding system is laid out along the space's circulation, so visitors get clear guidance at every decision point. On site, we moved in alongside the fit-out schedule, so the identity and the space were completed as one.

Extending the visual system
Vinyl graphics are the easiest piece to end up looking like a sticker. Here they carry the same typeface and colour rules as the signage, with orange used on only two words and the rest held in dark grey; applied straight onto the partition with no backing panel, the message stays readable along the corridor without taking up space.

The panel on the stone-veined wall
Stone veining and horizontal joints would swallow the letter edges, so a white panel goes on first to give a clean ground for reading; the panel is not matched to the wall's beige, so the black lettering holds its contrast.

Transparency versus presence
Glass has to stay see-through, and large solid letters would block the view; hollowing the strokes into smaller words means it reads as the brand from a distance and reveals a second layer of message up close.
Project Outcome
In the completed Yuchuang Technology space, interior signage, wayfinding, and vinyl graphics share one consistent visual, and the identity extends from the entrance to every node along the path. Visitors follow clear guidance to their destination while taking in a consistent brand impression as they move — making the space itself part of the corporate identity.

FAQ
This is an interior identity project CHYIHAUR delivered for Yuchuang Technology, spanning interior signage, wayfinding system design, and cut-vinyl graphics. The project integrated every interior identity element under one set of visual standards, unifying the brand impression across the space.
For the Yuchuang Technology case, CHYIHAUR provided interior signage fabrication, wayfinding system design, interior cut-vinyl graphics, and on-site installation, with a single team overseeing both design and construction.
A wayfinding system is an identity system CHYIHAUR plans holistically around the space's circulation; the focus is on delivering clear, consistent guidance at every decision point along the path, not just fabricating a single sign. It requires unified typography, color, and layout logic so visitors can follow the signs intuitively as they move.
CHYIHAUR recommends planning an interior identity project around the fit-out schedule and installing during the later stage of the renovation. Folding signage, wayfinding, and vinyl graphics into the overall plan early keeps the identity consistent with the space's style and avoids the interface issues that come from adding them after completion.
If your company is planning interior signage, a wayfinding system, or a spatial identity project, you are welcome to reach CHYIHAUR through the "Contact Us" page on the official website. The team will provide planning recommendations and a quote based on your space's conditions and circulation.
