A construction brand's facade, built to stand firm

CHYIHAUR delivered exterior aluminum alloy signage for Jipu Construction using front-lit Channelume illuminated letters. A galvanized square-tube back frame reinforces the structure while an automotive paint finish protects the surface, balancing weather resistance and refinement for corporate architectural identity. Completed in 30 days, 100% design fidelity, one-year workmanship warranty.

Project Design & Execution

CHYIHAUR Team

A construction company's signage is itself a piece of engineering on display—the structure must be solid and the detailing precise to echo the brand's commitment to building quality. For Jipu Construction's exterior aluminum alloy signage, CHYIHAUR oversaw every layer from the structural back frame to the painted finish, raising corporate identity to an engineering-grade standard on the building itself.

01

Project Background & Challenge

Jipu Construction needed exterior signage that could represent its corporate image over the long term. For a developer, signage is more than identity—it is a demonstration of quality: outdoor wind, rain and sunlight test both the structure and the surface's weather resistance, while the scale of corporate architecture demands signage with sufficient visual presence. Balancing structural strength with a refined appearance was the heart of this project.

A copper-gold matte address plaque on a dark grey brick-tile wall; the street name is formed by separate raised letters on the wall, while the large numerals are cut through the panel and continue below its lower edge, casting shadows in daylight.

Small piece, full spec

The project's premise is that a corporate building's mass calls for enough visual weight, and on a piece as small as a door plate that requirement was not scaled down: the street name stands off the wall, the numerals run past the plate's edge, and the two layers of form build an outline that reads first from a distance. The surface follows the project's automotive paint standard — a large flat coating is where uneven colour shows most, and outdoors it also has to take years of wind, rain and sun, so evenness and weather resistance have to hold at the same time.

02

Design Goals & Strategy

The project followed a “structure first, surface done right” strategy: the lettering used aluminum alloy Channelume illuminated letters in a front-lit configuration for clear night-time legibility; structurally, a galvanized square-tube back frame served as the supporting skeleton, meeting the load and weather-resistance demands of long-term outdoor mounting; the surface received an automotive paint finish—even, refined and highly weatherproof—so the signage keeps a corporate-grade facade through wind and rain.

A brown vertical plaque beside a stainless steel intercom box on a washed-pebble wall; white characters read No. 49, 1F, and cloud-shaped cut-outs at the base reveal a grey-white, red-brown mottled layer beneath.

A backing of its own

This exposed-aggregate wall already carries an intercom box; the brown vertical plate sits beside it, and its position was only fixed on site. The cloud pattern along the foot of the plate is cut through, and the grey-white with a red-brown cast showing through is the plate's own backing layer, not the warm aggregate wall behind it.

A brick-red vertical directory panel hung on an interior wall with soft ink-wash mottling; white numerals sit above a mountain-shaped motif in snow-and-stone texture, and the panel stands off the wall with visible depth.

The system moves indoors

The wall already carries an ink-wash texture, and under soft light a low-contrast plate would sink into it — brick red is what holds it up. The motif shifts from cloud to mountain, and the wayfinding system carries straight indoors.

The edge, seen up close

Only up close do you see the grey thickness along the plate's left side and bottom edge, and the sawtooth of the ridge line; the brown-red surface uses the same automotive paint finish as the rest of the project.

Project Outcome

Once complete, Jipu Construction's exterior signage presents a crisp corporate profile by day and is evenly front-lit by night, achieving 100% design fidelity. The combination of a galvanized square-tube back frame and automotive paint gives the signage engineering-grade structural safety and weather performance, mirroring the developer's professional image.

FAQ

This is a corporate architectural exterior aluminum alloy signage project that CHYIHAUR delivered for Jipu Construction. The lettering uses front-lit Channelume illuminated letters, with a galvanized square-tube back frame reinforcing the structure and an automotive paint finish, completed in 30 days.

Channelume illuminated letters are a three-dimensional illuminated lettering technique that pairs a formed aluminum alloy letter shell with internal LED lighting—crisp letter outlines, even illumination and strong weather resistance. This project uses a front-lit configuration so the corporate identity stays clearly legible at night.

This project uses a welded galvanized square-tube back frame as the sign's supporting skeleton; galvanizing prevents rust and meets the load and weather-resistance demands of long-term outdoor mounting. Structural safety is CHYIHAUR's top priority when executing corporate architectural signage.

An automotive paint finish is even and refined, with better adhesion and weather resistance than ordinary spray paint, keeping outdoor signage's color and texture intact over the long term. For a developer's signage that represents the corporate facade, it is a surface treatment that balances refinement and durability.

The exterior aluminum alloy signage project for Jipu Construction had a 30-day construction period and achieved 100% design fidelity; a one-year workmanship warranty is provided on completion.
