Refined light, holding up the details of a tech brand

CHYIHAUR crafted indoor illuminated signage letters for Turui Tech's office using a 20mm + 10mm double-layer acrylic 3D structure: the face is spray-painted for a refined finish while the exposed back casts a soft side glow, with lighting precisely tuned for the slender letter strokes to avoid shadows and light breaks. Completed in 12 days, with a one-year workmanship warranty.

Project Planning & Execution

CHYIHAUR Team

Office identity for a technology company often comes down to the details. Turui Tech's logo has slender letter strokes, and poorly configured lighting can easily leave shadows or breaks in the glow. CHYIHAUR answered with a 20mm + 10mm double-layer acrylic structure: the spray-painted face delivers a refined finish while the exposed back emits a soft side glow, letting the delicate letterforms shine evenly across the wall.

Project Background & Challenge

Turui Tech's office needed an indoor illuminated sign that could represent the corporate image, paired with indoor cut-vinyl graphics to complete the spatial visuals. The technical difficulty of this project lay in the logo itself: with slender letter strokes, the lighting had to be configured with particular care for an even, quality glow — the slightest gap in the lamp layout would leave shadows or breaks in the fine strokes, directly undermining the refinement.

Lighting a thin-stroke logo

There is little room inside a stroke to place lamps, and one missing stretch leaves a shadow or a break in the light. So the letters are built in two layers, 20mm and 10mm: the 20mm face is spray-painted to hold a saturated surface, while the 10mm back is left exposed to pass light; the lamps were then adjusted stroke by stroke, backlight and side light together, so the light stays continuous along the outline and does not break at the thin points.

Design Goals & Strategy

We adopted a 20mm + 10mm double-layer acrylic letter structure: the 20mm front acrylic is spray-painted for a saturated, refined surface finish, while the exposed 10mm back acrylic lets the light source cast a soft side halo. This dual light source of backlight plus side light wraps the entire letter contour, maintaining an even glow even where the strokes are slender.

Where the sign can't reach

The same teal-to-white gradient and fine arcs run from the walls onto the whole row of black-framed floor-to-ceiling glass partitions along the corridor; the interior film carries the brand graphics into the routes people walk every day, so the office reads as one visual whole.

A room name that stays quiet

The room name sets up no separate layout of its own: the grey letters follow the same arc as the graphic, so the two read as one thing.

Project Outcome

Once completed, Turui Tech's office identity shows the logo's illuminated letters glowing softly and evenly, with no shadows or breaks along the fine strokes. The spray-painted face and the soft side halo of the back set each other off, achieving 100% design fidelity. Paired with the indoor cut-vinyl graphics, the whole office presents a consistent, refined corporate image — all completed in 12 days.

FAQ

This is an indoor illuminated signage case CHYIHAUR carried out for Turui Tech's office, using 20mm + 10mm double-layer acrylic 3D letters with a backlight-plus-side-light configuration. The same project also included indoor cut-vinyl graphics to integrate the office spatial visuals, completed in 12 days.

Double-layer acrylic backlit 3D letters are an illuminated-letter technique that builds each letter from two layers of acrylic: here the front is 20mm spray-painted acrylic for a refined finish, while the exposed 10mm back acrylic lets the light source emit a soft side glow. The light spreads out from behind the letters — refined and easy on the eyes, ideal for indoor brand walls.

Illuminated letters with slender strokes are most prone to shadows and light breaks: the lamp layout space within fine strokes is limited, and the slightest gap in the lighting leaves dark spots. During fabrication, CHYIHAUR adjusts the lamp configuration for each individual stroke, ensuring even, continuous light and preserving the logo's refinement.

Beyond the indoor illuminated signage letters, this project also produced indoor cut-vinyl graphics, extending the brand graphics onto the office walls and glass for a more complete, consistent overall visual.

The construction period for the Turui Tech office signage project was 12 days, with 100% design fidelity; a one-year workmanship warranty is provided upon completion.
