Project Background & Challenges
Fengrui Technology's corporate building identity called for facade illuminated signage and a large logo panel. Projects of this scale pose two challenges. The first is structural safety: a large logo panel suspended on a building facade for years must have its own weight and wind load reliably carried by the internal structure. The second is weather resistance and light-source lifespan: outdoor identity has to hold its brightness and appearance through years of sun and rain, so there can be no compromise on the grade of materials and fixtures.

The source of the nighttime brightness
The lighting is arranged in two ways, front-lit and back-lit, with fixtures sourced from Nichia of Japan, so that the letter faces read at an even brightness at night and the service life of the light source reaches a level suitable for long-term use. The light-transmitting face is a PC polycarbonate panel, paired with the baked enamel surface of the stainless steel letter bodies, so the light diffuses softly. Both the fixtures and the fabricated work carry a three-year warranty.

We worked to a single principle: build the identity to engineering spec.
