An outdoor sign that mirrors a precise-technology image
CHYIHAUR delivered outdoor and indoor identity signage for the Chunghwa Precision Test Tech (CHPT) headquarters: an illuminated formed LOGO in folded stainless steel, powered by Japanese Nichia LEDs with reinforced internal structure. Before installation we coordinated with the aluminum curtain-wall contractor on openings, fixing methods and pre-embedded wiring, completed on schedule in 45 days, with a three-year warranty on both fixtures and fabrication.

A corporate headquarters sign is a brand's largest calling card in the city. The CHPT headquarters facade is an aluminum curtain wall, so mounting an illuminated LOGO means locking down the fixing method, opening positions and pre-embedded wiring long before installation day. This is a project that begins with drawing coordination, and it is where CHYIHAUR's deepest expertise in architectural corporate identity comes to bear.

Project background and challenges
Chunghwa Precision Test Tech is a leading name in semiconductor test interfaces, and its headquarters signage had to carry both corporate image and long-term weather resistance. The greatest challenge was the aluminum curtain-wall facade: the sign could not be fastened directly, so the fixing method, opening positions and pre-embedded wiring all had to be finalized with the curtain-wall contractor during pre-construction. Miss a single interface, and installation could stall on hoisting day.
Fixing into a curtain wall
This top-corner position was the hardest part of the job. The tower's exterior is an aluminium panel curtain wall, so the sign could not be bolted to it directly: fixing method, opening positions and pre-embedded wiring were all settled with the curtain wall contractor during pre-construction. The folded stainless steel letters carry added internal reinforcement for long-term mounting at height, so the risk was resolved on the drawings and the single lift went in without compromising the curtain wall's waterproofing or appearance.
Design goals and strategy
We planned the entire project around delivering on time and on quality. On the fabrication side, the shaped illuminated LOGO was formed from folded stainless steel, with reinforced internal structure to keep it safely suspended for the long term, lit by Japanese Nichia LEDs chosen for both brightness and lifespan. On the engineering side, we entered early to coordinate, safeguarding every step on behalf of the client and the main contractor, resolving risk on the drawings rather than on the crane.
The lobby logo wall
This piece and the illuminated logo outside belong to the same scope of work: the interior identity was handled by us from planning through fabrication to mounting on the stone wall. Fidelity to the design: 100%.

Project results
The outdoor illuminated LOGO and indoor identity were installed on time and on quality: by day a clean, high-tech silhouette; by night the corporate mark lit evenly by Nichia LEDs. Advance coordination with the curtain-wall contractor let hoisting land in one pass, without compromising the curtain wall's waterproofing or appearance, and with a clear interface reference for future maintenance. Design fidelity reached 100%.
